Today our Youth4Change team who has been working on this website for the past 2 1/2 years unveiled the new youth website to the media this morning. We had a fantastic media turnout so tune into your local media (660News, CTV, CityTv, Global, Access or The Herald) and check out what our youth team had to say.
Tonight we are having a social event to celebrate the new website and everyone is invited for food/drinks and a chance to hear our youth talk about the site. The event starts at 7PM at The Kahanoff Centre (2nd floor, 1202 Centre Street SE).
This website is a great tool for survivors of sexual abuse, support persons and youth who just want to learn about the issue of sexual abuse and sexual assault and what they can do to change their world. Of course we must thank our website development team LouderThan10 and TELUS Calgary Community Board for their $10,000 gift towards the development of this incredible resource for Calgary youth.
