CCASA Staff are Troopers

On Friday, December 4, 2009, CCASA held its annual winter holiday celebration, and this year it was a scavenger hunt.

Staff dressed in costumes, and braved a blizzard to collect and photograph themselves with the items listed in Bob & Doug McKenzie’s 12 Days of Christmas.

The rivalry was fierce: Team Mutant Ninja Scavengers completed the task in record time, followed by theBoa-dacious BadassesThe Madhatters and the Buddy Holly’s. It seemed the Ninjas had won the competition, until it was revealed that the Badasses actually eked them out by 6 packs of smokes. During the celebratory dinner, the Boa-dacious Badasses were presented with a very fine First Place Trophy, gift certificates to Cadillac Fairview, and a half day off each.
Here are the winners with four pounds of backbacon (from left to right: Elske Stuwe, Kari White, Melissa Pickett, and Laurie Siembida).

A merry time was had by all!

Executive Director Danielle Aubry, Executive Assistant Dawn Grenier (the person who painstakingly organized the event), and CCASA staff would like to extend their thanks to the companies, and friends, who participated in making the scavenger hunt such a big success:

Sarah and 3 Coyotes Pub
Roy at E-Jay Petroleum Services Inc.
Paul and everyone (props to Rufus) at Keller Equipment
Cheryl and everyone at X-Statik Salon Inc.
