Thorna is a Chartered Professional Accountant, specializing in providing IT services, primarily in system consulting and implementation. She has consulted for the majority of her career to a variety of public and private businesses.
Thorna is a new/old member of the Board of CCASA, having previously served as both Treasurer and President for a number of years. She left the Board and joined Alberta Association of Sexual Assault Services. She has deep knowledge and passion around the issues of sexual assault.
Thorna has extensive Board experience, serving on other boards such as United Way of Calgary and Area, Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis Commission and Fernie Adaptive Snowsports. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and has her professional director designation.
She is looking forward to help support an evolved and matured CCASA into the future.
