Sarah Winstanley RSW, MSW (she/her)

Supervisor of the Training, Resource and Education Centre (TREC)

Sarah Winstanley (she/her) is the Training, Resource and Education Centre (TREC) Supervisor at CCASA. Sarah is a settler who was born and raised here on Treaty Seven land, and has spent the majority of her life working in Calgary/Moh’kinstsis. Sarah holds her Bachelor and Masters of Social work from the University of Calgary. She has worked for 13+ years on intersectional feminist issues, with a particular focus on supporting the leadership of girls and gender-diverse youth, and supporting people with education about and access to their human rights. Throughout Sarah’s career, she has held many positions in the realm of leadership, education & research, community outreach and support services. Sarah is passionate about working to create a world where all people are able to practice consent and have their bodily autonomy, boundaries and choices respected. She loves that working for CCASA gives her a way to enact these values. Sarah brings a wide skill set and wealth of experience to CCASA’s TREC and leadership team.
