Erwin currently works as a student-at-law for Bennett Jones LLP. Erwin attended the University of Calgary where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in Philosophy and a Juris Doctor degree. Upon graduating, Erwin clerked for Justice April Grosse with the Court of Appeal of Alberta. As a law student, Erwin had the opportunity to chair a student committee that addressed issues surrounding sexual violence. This committee engaged in several initiatives, ranging from raising awareness to advocating for the delivery of school curriculum in a trauma-informed manner. As a board member, Erwin is committed to furthering CCASA’s mission by providing his perspective both as a student and member of the legal community. In his spare time, Erwin enjoys reading biographies, riding his motorcycle, boxing and spending time with family and friends.
