Palvi Chauhan (she/her)

Clinical Supervisor for the Police & Court Support Program (PACES)

Palvi Chauhan is the Clinical Program Supervisor for the Police and Court Education and Support Program (PACES) at Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse. Palvi was born and raised in Calgary and grew up with a passion towards understanding the complexities of the justice system and it’s impacts upon the community. Palvi obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Mount Royal University, and during this time, she volunteered as a Youth Mentor to educate youth on identifying and navigating various systemic barriers within their communities. Prior to joining CCASA, Palvi spent several years working frontline with victims of domestic violence, many of whom also experienced sexual violence. At this time, Palvi specialized in and worked alongside the multi-disciplinary team within Calgary’s domestic court, advocating for victims’ rights, voice, and safety. Palvi’s passion and frontline experience led her to fulfilling leadership positions working in domestic violence and this is where she re-found her passion for community collaboration and team growth at a supervisory level. Palvi brings to CCASA a strong understanding of the criminal justice system and trauma informed leadership to the PACES team, ensuring clients are empowered and well-informed while navigating the legal system.
