Co-Director of the Training, Resource and Education Centre (TREC)

Mallory McGraw is the Co-Director of the Training, Resource and Education Centre (TREC). Mallory holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and minor is Women and Gender Studies.  Her history with CCASA began in 2018, when she joined the team of volunteers on the Support and Information Line. Mallory began her career in the nonprofit sector working with children and youth with behavioural, mental health, and cognitive challenges. This professional experience led Mallory to discover her passion for supporting children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect. Mallory brings a broad range of skills in leadership, team management and crisis support to the progressive leadership roles she has held at CCASA since joining the Education team in 2021. Mallory is dedicated to ensuring that Calgary has access to evidence based, best practice, and thought-provoking education about the issue and realities of sexual violence. Mallory is passionate about mentoring and supporting Educators in developing their facilitation skills and capacity to bring crucial sexual violence education to Calgary, in order to work towards increasing awareness, self-reflection, behavior changes, and reducing impacts of sexual violence. Mallory’s years of playing Hockey has given her a unique interest in the way that gender based violence, including sexual violence, plays out in sport. She appreciates the task of connecting with audiences new to sexual violence related content and engaging groups in working together toward the vision of a world free from sexual violence.
