Jenn Corbett is the Assistant Director of Clinical Services at CCASA. With a unique background as a Licensed Practical Nurse of 14 years, she also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and graduated with her Masters of Counselling Psychology in January 2020. Jenn’s professional journey has been characterized by flexibility, encompassing diverse roles across various domains including: neurology, forensics, community health/public health, and mental health and addictions services. For the past 7 years Jenn has been dedicated to the non-profit sector, focusing on creating safer and equitable communities. She has supported in the development of accessible care pathways, including initiatives such as a detox and pre-treatment program at a large homeless shelter, and same-day therapy sessions for marginalized youth. As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, she is dedicated to proving specialized, trauma-informed therapy to those impacted by sexual violence. Jenn practices from a strengths-based lens, aiding in the development of resiliency and self-determination of clients. As a leader, she is committed to mentoring employees, ensuring efficient service provision, and advocating for change in the community. Jenn is also passionate about education and learning, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Heath Studies, concentrating on Leadership and Health Research.
