CCASA is excited to announce that we have been selected to participate in Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.
Birdies for Kids (BFK) is a non-profit program run under the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation. All donations through BFK are matched up to 50% and 100% of the proceeds go to the selected charity. Shaw Birdies for Kids Presented by AltaLink has raised over $34 million since 2013.
All proceeds from this fundraising campaign will go directly to our Children and Youth Education and Safety Programs. We have been providing valuable programs to schools and communities for over 25 years. Supporting our programs will ensure that we can reach as many children and youth as possible.

CCASA would receive 100% of every donation which would go to support our children and youth education programming. Birdies for Kids then matches up to 50% of donations, making all donations go further. That means that if you were to donate $100, then up to an additional $50 would matched and given to your selected charity.
Tax receipts are issued from the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation.

All donations go through the Birdies for Kids portal and are accepted until August 15, 2021.
Cheque
Donations can be made via cheque.
Please note: All donations greater than $5,000 must be made via cheque. Cheques must be made out to ‘Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation.’ with ‘Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse’ written in the memo.

Your donation would make an incredible impact to our organization. All donations are matched by 50% which means that one donation – up to 150% impact! All of your donations will go to supporting our Children and Youth Education and Safety Programs. COVID-19 had a substantial impact on our ability to offer our programs. Due to COVID in 2020, we were not able to offer our programs to children and youth in schools.
With your donation, it would help improve our programs to make them more accessible and expand our reach to make them available to more children and youth in need. Our programming provides children and youth with the skills and knowledge needed to recognize abuse, promote healthy relationships, learn about body autonomy, and empowers children to access support.
