Crisis Intervention and Counselling Programs
Specific program components within the Crisis Intervention and Counselling Programs include:
- 24 hour Support and Information Line and toll free line in Alberta
- 24 hour Call-Out as part of the Calgary Sexual Assault Response Team (CSART)
- Crisis Intervention and Support Counselling
- Group Counselling
- Camp Chief Hector Empowerment and Celebration Weekend (for women survivors only).
Volunteer Program
CCASA’s priority is to be accessible to the public. Volunteers are essential to the high quality delivery of services and programs CCASA offers as well as increased public awareness of the agency and issues of sexual abuse and sexual assault.
Police And Court Education and Support Program
The Police And Court Education and Support (P.A.C.E.S.) Program provides specialized information, education, and support to past or recent survivors of sexual assault and their families.
Education
CCASA’s educational program strives to enhance interpersonal functioning and a sense of empowerment for individuals throughout the community by providing accessible, ethical, accurate and relevant education and preventative programs that address sexual violence and its surrounding issues. These programs will be based on the specific needs of diverse populations existing throughout the Calgary and area.
Community Outreach Program
This program builds cooperative and mutually supportive relationships with other groups and organizations to raise awareness of sexual abuse and sexual assault.
“Who Do You Tell?”™ Program
The “Who Do You Tell?”™ (“WDYT?”™) Program is a child sexual abuse education program for elementary school children, their teachers and parents.
