AASAC is a provincial organization that provides leadership, coordination and a unified voice on issues of sexual assault/abuse while increasing recognition and support for sexual assault centres/services in Alberta. We are currently hiring the following position.
Project Coordinator – Full Time
This is a 3 year project position responsible for facilitating and creating standardized supports for survivors of sexual assault/abuse through the development of standardized training for professionals and para-professionals in Alberta. The training will address the skills and knowledge needed to assess, screen and effectively respond to disclosures of sexual abuse/assault. The Coordinator will need to work with AASAC members and other stakeholders in Alberta.
Some travel required.
Qualifications and skills include: knowledge of sexual abuse/assault, significant research and program development, facilitation, and community development skills. www.aasac.ca
