CCASA volunteers make a real difference in the lives of those affected by the various forms of sexual abuse and sexual assault. In 2005, volunteers contributed 11,495 hours to support CCASA’s programs.

What Other Volunteers Have To Say
Volunteering with CCASA is a great way to give back to the community. You are conveniently able to work from home and know you’re actually doing something to contribute and help others who are dealing with sexual assault issues.
The training was fun, educational and enlightening. I have recommended it to many of my friends.
Volunteering at CCASA has been a wonderful experience for me! The comprehensive training helped me to feel comfortable and prepared to face a wide range of issues that callers may raise on the crisis line, as well as to feel more familiar with services available to support survivors. It is a great feeling to provide callers with a sense of comfort during times of need and to expand my awareness in the area of sexual abuse and sexual assault. CCASA staff have been very appreciative of the work that volunteers do and I am proud to be a part of such a supportive organization!
Volunteering with CCASA has given me the experience and the opportunity for personal growth for which I am humbly grateful.
The CCASA volunteer training was extremely thorough. The training program combined workshops and lectures that facilitated the emergence of strong bonds between the volunteers, which also allowed us to have fun in the midst of such an intensive training period. CCASA’s training doesn’t just end there, they have ongoing refreshers and staff always available to answer a question.
